Burton HS educational advisers, Andrea Bueno and Rachel Rivas, took 40 of their students on a field trip to CSU East Bay located in Hayward, California. On November 16, 2011, students received a tour of the campus and ate at the dining commons with current CSUEB students! Recently, the Princeton Review selected Cal State East Bay as a “Best in the West” college for 2012. The report is based on surveys of current students, who noted the following highlights: affordable tuition, small class sizes, strong business, nursing, and teaching programs, career-minded students, and a diverse multicultural community.
